Special Services

To assure the success of every student, Wiregrass Georgia Technical College features additional services specializing in:

Students with Disabilities
Accommodations and assistance are offered to eligible students with documented physical, emotional/mental, hearing, visual, learning, and other health impairments in the areas of: career guidance, academic assessment/placement, assistive classroom technology, interpreters, and referral to community service agencies.

Special Populations
Wiregrass Georgia Tech provides support services such as customized workshops, seminars, and support groups for students who are in special population categories. Program offerings address life issues such as stress management, parenting skills, self esteem improvement, and job readiness training.

Personal Counseling Referrals
Wiregrass Georgia Tech does not offer professional counseling services; however, we do offer free confidential referral services to outside agencies and organizations to help you find the assistance you need to address the all-too-prevalent stress and conflicts that may distract you from achieving your full potential.
