Greetings, and Welcome to Wiregrass Georgia Technical College! We offer a wide variety of educational opportunities that are affordable and focus on providing first-class training to our students. As a parent, your interest in your young adult’s education and career choice is evidenced by the fact that you are investing the time to learn about our college.

East Central Technical College and Valdosta Technical College were chosen to merge in order to correspond with the service area of the Southern Georgia Regional Commission. This is crucial to the economic development of our region because most of the eleven counties of the merged college’s service area are included in this region. 

We are proud of the long history from both colleges and the unduplicated service to the community will not change just because the name is changing. WGTC will still serve the individuals, businesses and communities as each college has done for years and provide a skilled workforce to support economic growth and development.
