Valdosta Technical College
Adult Education Program honors 145 students

Valdosta Technical College’s Adult Education Program hosted its first honors week May 1-8. The week was successful as 145 students were honored with 13 instructors participating.

Students from five of six counties in the area received awards: 91 Lowndes County students, 12 Cook County students, 13 Berrien County students and 7 Brooks County.

Berrien County Adult Education honor students included: Sarah Bailey, Sarah Garcia, Valencia Jones, Rex Nelms, Christina Richardson, Sharon Rowe, Sara Staines, Mark Taylor, Keith Thigpen, Lily Tyson, Tashona Wesley and Santana Yancey.

Valdosta Technical College is accredited by the
Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
